Children’s hospitals are special places. I’ve seen them impact so many families and people, including our daughter, Rya.
Even though they focus on children, children’s hospitals serve and bridge multiple generations every day, from children and parents to grandparents and entire communities, often in the most critical moments. That’s why I was so honored to speak twice at the Children’s Nebraska Leadership Forum and their Board of Directors Meeting on the generational trends shaping families, care teams, and the future of healthcare.

The hospital tour that stayed with me
One of the highlights was touring the hospital, from their acclaimed NICU to their inspiring Innovation Center. Seeing the care spaces, the intentional design, and the incredible teams in action was deeply moving, and it made their mission feel even more personal.
