Partnering with WellSky on Groundbreaking Research
CGK partnered with WellSky on a new national workforce study focused on unlocking the potential of the home health workforce, and we revealed the findings live at the WellSky CareForum.
What a time to be in healthcare. We’re seeing major trends collide: an aging population, Gen Z entering the workforce, AI reshaping workflows, regulatory changes, evolving patient needs, and the list keeps going. It’s exciting. It’s intense. It’s important. And it’s exactly the moment where research and leadership matter most.
What did the WellSky research set out to answer?
The question we wanted to answer: what actually drives today’s home health workforce? WellSky is the industry leader in healthcare software, analytics, and services, so teaming up with them to run this national workforce study was a real honor. This was my fourth time speaking for WellSky, and each time I’m inspired by their clarity of purpose, their heart for caregivers, and their relentless focus on innovation that improves lives.
The finding that stood out
The study uncovered so many surprising discoveries. The one that really stood out to me was the fresh perspective on what’s driving today’s home health workforce. Here’s the insight most leaders overlook: caregivers on the frontlines aren’t a cost to manage, they’re a workforce to understand. When we learn what they value, need, and struggle with, we can design better work experiences that support their essential work.
A huge thank-you to the entire WellSky team for inviting me to collaborate on this important project and share it with your community. It was an honor to be part of the big reveal, and I’m excited to share the discoveries on their upcoming webinar!
Understand what caregivers value, and you can build a home health workforce that stays.
