Fifteen Hundred Inspiring Healthcare Leaders at Allina Health

Fifteen hundred healthcare leaders. One inspiring mission. One hugely motivating event! I had the honor of keynoting Allina Health’s annual Leader Collaborative in Minneapolis, sharing generational leadership research with the people who serve every generation in their community every day.

Who was in the room at Allina Health

The leaders attending represented every aspect of this storied healthcare organization. What most inspired me was the genuine compassion and commitment to care that each person in that giant event space brings to their work. You could feel their focus on culture, service, and innovation, and I loved hearing about the breakthrough discoveries they’re leading and using!

Why generational leadership matters in healthcare right now

Healthcare leaders today are in a particularly challenging time. There’s so much change happening, and they must continually solve new problems and rise to the occasion, often while navigating generational differences on their teams. Standing in that giant ballroom, you could feel the wonderful Allina culture and its commitment to serve. The whole experience reminded me why healthcare is in very good hands, and why the future is bright for every generation Allina serves.

Preparation that made the keynote land

I’m grateful to the entire Allina Health team for their in-depth pre-event preparation. They gave me exactly what I needed to customize my presentation with my latest generational discoveries and fresh insights into how technology can keep being a major asset for their storied organization. I cannot wait to see all the innovation they continue to drive!
