Honored to Present for Children’s Nebraska and Tour Their World Class Hospital
Children’s hospitals are special places. I’ve seen them impact so many families and people, including our daughter, Rya.
Even though they focus on children, children’s hospitals actually serve and bridge multiple generations every day—children, parents, grandparents, and entire communities—often in the most critical moments. That’s why I was so honored to speak (twice!) at the Children’s Nebraska Leadership Forum as well as their Board of Directors Meeting.
Children’s Nebraska is the only full-service pediatric health system in the state, and its mission shows up everywhere: in their teams, leaders, innovation, and commitment to improving children’s lives across the region.
One of the highlights for me was getting a tour of the hospital, from their acclaimed NICU to their inspiring Innovation Center. Seeing the care spaces, the intentional design, and the incredible teams in action was deeply moving—and made their mission feel even more powerful and personal.
What else stood out?
- The passion and purpose shared by leaders at every level across the organization
- The stories of impact—from specialty breakthroughs to family experiences
- The energy in the room as their teams leaned into learning, collaboration, and what’s next in children’s health
- The thoughtful conversations after my keynote about the generational trends shaping families, care teams, and the future of healthcare
I shared my latest insights on how different generations—patients, parents, and team members—experience healthcare today, unexpected discoveries in communication, and the insights to support trust across every generation they serve.
Huge thank-you to the entire Children’s Nebraska team for the warm welcome, the inspiring hospital tour, and the meaningful work you do every day. Your mission is life-changing, and it was an honor to experience your passion and culture up close.
