This is the beginning of an emotional debate that continues to this day.
Currently, the biggest generation in the workforce and marketplace, Millennials number about 80 million in the U.S. and over 2.5 billion globally. They are fast impacting everything from hiring practices and communication to sales, politics, and education.
But before we all knew them as Millennials, they were known as Generation Y, Echo Boomers, Gen 2.0, etc., and they started a major national conversation about entitlement, work styles, communication, and so much more—that started in part because of my 60 Minutes interview!
